We’ve done this for 4 years and it is one of the most rewarding programs we’ve ever done.

This is but one of our Rotary Club projects and our members all think it is so good.

We were skeptical at first, but as the project matured students and teachers expressed delight at receiving the dictionaries.

We have been participating for 7 years. This is one of our favorite projects. The feedback we get from the students and teachers is very gratifying.

We joined the Dictionary Project eight years ago. The first year we did 2 schools, then 4 schools, then 8 schools 2 years in a row. We have so many stories–the kids enjoy the dictionary, and the children from previous years have stopped us to tell us that they still have their dictionary.

We have been doing this for 7 years. The children begin to ask the teachers when school starts when they will get their dictionaries and thesaurus. 5-year participant, always welcome at all the rural schools we service. Meeting kids out of context, i.e., at the supermarket or in a store, and having them run up and say “You’re the guys that gave us the dictionaries!” makes the whole program worth it.

This is our 5th year giving out dictionaries to our 3rd graders in the Roland-Story School district. We put their names in the book to make it feel more personable. For many this is their first book that they can call their own. Our clubs are for giving the leaders of tomorrow the tools they need for success in their life journey.

This is our 4th year to provide dictionaries to all 3rd graders at Banks County Elementary. Very good project. Children are always excited to receive the dictionaries.
