Oakview Grange members have done the Dictionary Project as one of their major annual projects for 7 years now. Over 700 dictionaries have been presented thus far. It’s a win-win for all involved – Students, teachers and the Grange.

This is the 7th year our Grange has participated. Great program! The students are thrilled with them every year and use them regularly.

The kids love these dictionaries as do their teachers.

We have been doing the “Words for Thirds” project for 6 years and have delivered over 200 copies to the local elementary school. The children are all delighted to receive them and use them for many years to come. We love this project and are pleased that the Grange has taken this on every year.

This has been a very nice added thing for our school which does not have much money. We do this with the money we make roller skating at our Grange each summer.

This is our sixth year. We love to see the children’s faces when they get their own dictionary.

I don’t know exactly how many years we have done this now, but it has been quite a few years. The third grade teachers always look forward to this gift. We have been doing this project for 5 years now, and the schools and kids are very appreciative of the dictionaries.

This year is the seventh year that South Fork Grange has given dictionaries to the third graders in Ritchie County. It is a fun day for the Grangers to spend with the children, and I think the children have fun too. It is a very worthwhile project and one that the children will remember. Keep doing the good work.

We love the project. Literacy is so very important to all of our students. This gives our Grange an opportunity to give to a worthy cause so that all of the children can have the proper learning tools, not just those that can afford them.
