We’ve been presenting dictionaries for 12 years.. We absolutely love the Project. It is so important to have the “right” tools with which to educate our students. Our school has uses “WOW” (Words of the Week), to help teach spelling and word definition, within the 3rd grade curriculum. Each week three words are assigned. Each student looks up the three words in a dictionary,...

We have been donating for several year. Our past Grange Master Henry Eiden wanted this project supported after his passing. It was his favorite project to support.

We have given the third graders dictionaries for several years now and the teachers look forward to our donation. They teach a unit on dictionary use, and it works very well for students to each have their own book.. The students love getting their own books. They are very excited that they get to keep them and use them..

This will be our 9th year for the “Words for Thirds” project. It is such a plesure to see how excited the students are to receive a book of their own. Teachers are very grateful as well. Our members who help distribute the dictionaries really enjoy the time spent with the children. It always makes us feel good..

The Fargher Lake Grange has been participating many years in the dictionary project (longer than I’ve been a member), and the children enjoy getting the books. Working at the school, I got to see how often the third-grade class pulled out the book to look up words. It’s great!

We want to thank you for the dictionaries. I like the dictionaries because they are cool and they are big and fat and also have so many words. It’s hard for me to find words in it. Another part that was fun was on the ride home because we all looked in our cool dictionaries. It was like a dream. I use my dictionary...
