Somerton Rotary Club recognized by Yuma County Educational Foundation

Somerton Rotary Club recently received a plaque from the Yuma County Educational Foundation which read,

"Hall of Fame
Somerton Rotary Club
Outstanding Organization Contributing to Yuma County"

Dr. Doug Rutan, Superintendent of the Mohawk Valley Schools and a board member of the Yuma County Educational Foundation, was instrumental in getting the Somerton Rotary Club recognized as an outstanding organization in distributing dictionaries to 3rd graders over the past 11 years. It was a great evening and a bigger surprise.
