Lions Clubs Across the Country Promote Educational Development

Lions Clubs International has been a dedicated sponsor of The Dictionary Project for many years. Clubs across the United States have worked diligently to continue their local projects and we greatly appreciate their participation. We would like to highlight a few clubs and the work they have accomplished in their communities.

Marion Lions Club Visit Grant County Schools

First Year to Volunteer: Colona Township Lioness Club

The Colona Township Lioness Club decided to start a dictionary project after Ray Parish of the Orion Lions Club came to speak to their members. He shared the success of his club’s project in Orion, Illinois and the Lady Lions were convinced their community would benefit from the program as well. Southport Lions Club is Highlighted in Local Newspaper

The Southport Lions Club was recently spotlighted in their local paper for visiting schools and bringing along dictionaries to students in Marion County.
