Murrysville/Export Rotary Club Brings the Gift of Dictionaries to Franklin Regional Students

Since 2005, the Rotary Club of Murrysville/Export in Pennsylvania has proudly participated in The Dictionary Project, providing personal dictionaries to every third-grade student in the Franklin Regional School District and at the local Catholic school in Murrysville.

Over the years, club members have presented more than 5,700 dictionaries, helping to build strong literacy skills in the community. After this year’s distribution, the Rotary Club shared, “We loved meeting these amazing students and their teachers. Thank you FR for allowing us to do this for them and for letting us share our love for Rotary and our community.”

Through their ongoing efforts, the Murrysville/Export Rotary Club continues to demonstrate the lasting impact a simple gift like a dictionary can have — giving students tools to succeed and inspiring a lifelong love of words and learning.
