Dickinson Rotary Club Distributes 420 Dictionaries Across North Dakota Schools

Continuing a proud tradition that spans more than 15 years, the Dickinson Rotary Club has once again invested in local education by distributing 420 dictionaries to third grade students across Dickinson, South Heart, and Belfield, North Dakota.

Since the start of their partnership with The Dictionary Project, the club has donated nearly 5,500 dictionaries to students in the region—an incredible milestone that reinforces their commitment to youth literacy and community service.

By placing a dictionary into each student’s hands, the Rotarians are giving more than a book—they’re providing a foundation for reading comprehension, independent learning, and vocabulary building.

This long-running initiative continues to make a difference in classrooms across the state, one word at a time.
