Murrysville-Export Rotary Club Donates Dictionaries and Life Lessons

Since 2005, the Rotary Club of Murrysville-Export in Pennsylvania has donated more than 6,000 dictionaries to local third graders through The Dictionary Project. This year, the tradition continued at Franklin Regional School District, where every third-grade student received a personal dictionary to support their reading and writing.

Rotary Interact high school students joined the visit, reading a story and sharing the Rotary’s Four-Way Test, which teaches ethical decision-making and respect. The school shared its appreciation on Facebook, writing:

“THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Murrysville-Export for their generous gift of knowledge and for supporting our students small and tall.”

Through this ongoing project, the Rotary Club fosters literacy, leadership, and character—empowering students with tools to succeed in school and beyond.
