Port Allegany Rotary Club Delivers Dictionaries to Third Graders

The Port Allegany Rotary Club recently continued its tradition of supporting literacy by purchasing and presenting a Webster’s Dictionary to every third-grade student in the Otto-Eldred and Port Allegany school districts.

As part of The Dictionary Project, a nationwide effort to provide young students with their own personal dictionary, Rotarians Anna Fair and Patricia Kujawski visited classrooms to deliver the dictionaries. Rotarian Pam Fischer also participated in the project.

Thanks to the dedication of the Port Allegany Rotary Club, local third graders are now better equipped to build their vocabulary and strengthen their educational foundation.
