Minnehaha Grange Shares the Gift of Words with Vancouver Students

The Minnehaha Grange #164 in Vancouver, Washington has been promoting literacy through The Dictionary Project for nearly two decades. Since launching their initiative in 2005, the Grange has donated 3,168 dictionaries to third grade students in the Vancouver School District.

This year, students at Minnehaha Elementary School celebrated the donation by signing a heartfelt thank-you banner in appreciation of receiving their own personal dictionaries.

The Minnehaha Grange’s dedication to education has helped generations of students build vocabulary skills, improve reading comprehension, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

By giving students a physical resource they can explore both in the classroom and at home, the Grange empowers young minds with the tools they need to succeed.
