Dallas Trinity Lions Club Spreads Literacy in Local Schools

Students at Anson Jones Elementary and Celestino Mauricio Soto Jr. Elementary School in Dallas, Texas were all smiles as they received their very own dictionaries, thanks to the Dallas Trinity Lions Club. The club began its partnership with The Dictionary Project in 2021, inspired by another Lions Club’s success with the initiative.

Now in its fourth year, the project continues to support local youth literacy by putting a valuable educational tool into the hands of students who use it to build vocabulary, strengthen reading comprehension, and spark curiosity.
