Glendale Foundation Donates Dictionaries to Third Grade Students

Since 2018, the Glendale School District Education Foundation in Pennsylvania has gifted every third grader at Glendale Elementary School their own personal dictionary through its partnership with The Dictionary Project.

The Foundation’s mission is to enhance learning for Glendale students and staff by generating and managing resources that support educational success. Gifting dictionaries aligns with that mission by providing students with an essential reference tool that promotes vocabulary development, literacy, and independent learning.

A dictionary in the hands of every student lays the foundation for stronger reading skills, critical thinking, and academic confidence—skills that will benefit them for life.
