Dear California Dictionary Project,
Third-grade student Pernalyn used to borrow the dictionary in her classroom or at the library. Thanks to the Rotary Club of Saipan, she now has her own brand-new dictionary.
The Webster Rotary this fall continued its tradition of handing out dictionaries to all of Webster's third grade students.
Ray Pompey P.E.R. of Lancaster Elks Lodge #1625 first heard of the "Dictionary Project" found in the Elks Magazine in the latter to mid part of the year 2004.
Each year the Chaves County Republican Women donate dictionaries to each third grade student in the Dexter, Hagerman, and Lake Arthur Elementary Schools.
