Fallsburg Elementary Students in Kentucky Receive Dictionaries to Boost Literacy.

Every third-grade student at Fallsburg Elementary School in Kentucky recently received a free personal dictionary thanks to the efforts of The Dictionary Project and dedicated community partners.

This initiative aims to equip students with tools that support reading, writing, and independent learning. Teachers at Fallsburg say the dictionaries have become an immediate favorite, with students eagerly exploring new words and using them during lessons.

“The moment they opened their dictionaries, you could see curiosity spark,” said one teacher. “It’s more than a book — it’s empowerment.”

The Dictionary Project continues to reach students across the country, and the success at Fallsburg highlights the importance of early access to quality educational resources.
