American Legion Auxiliary Unit 233 Donates Dictionaries to Loganville Students

Third-grade students at Bay Creek Elementary, Sharon Elementary, and Youth Elementary Schools in Loganville, Georgia recently received a personal dictionary, thanks to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 233.

This marks the second year Unit 233 has participated in The Dictionary Project, helping young learners build vocabulary and improve reading comprehension. The project is made possible through funds raised by the Unit’s community Bingo nights, turning fun into a meaningful investment in education.

Providing essential learning tools like dictionaries empowers students to take ownership of their learning—both in and out of the classroom. The smiles on students’ faces are a clear sign that this gift is appreciated and impactful.
