Arkansas Policy Foundation Donates Dictionaries to Anna Strong Elementary Students

Anna Strong Elementary School in Lee County, Arkansas, recently received a boost in literacy resources when the Arkansas Policy Foundation donated personal dictionaries to every third-grade student. The classroom was filled with excitement as students flipped through the pages of their very own books—tools designed to support their reading, writing, and vocabulary development.

A nonpartisan, non-profit organization, the Arkansas Policy Foundation focuses on public policy analysis and educational initiatives. Since 2009, the foundation has participated in the Dictionary Project and has delivered over 1,200 dictionaries to students in Arkansas schools.
