Glendale School District Education Foundation Brings the Gift of Words to Students
Since 2018, the Glendale School District Education Foundation has made sure that every third-grade student at Glendale Elementary School in Flinton, Pennsylvania, receives their very own dictionary.
Thanks to the Foundation’s generosity, hundreds of students over the years have been given the tools to expand their vocabulary, strengthen their reading skills, and build confidence in learning. The excitement on the students’ faces when they receive their dictionaries highlights just how powerful a simple book can be in shaping their future.
Through projects like this, The Dictionary Project continues to show how providing a personal dictionary to young learners opens doors to better education and greater opportunities. The Glendale School District Education Foundation’s commitment ensures that these students begin their academic journey with the essential skills they need to succeed.
