Rotary Club of Bridgton-Lake Region Brings Dictionaries to Maine Classrooms

Members of the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club recently visited three schools in Cumberland County, Maine, to personally present dictionaries to third-grade students.

Project Chair Erin Nelson shared, “This year we were back in person in the classrooms, seeing the happy smiles on the youngsters as they leafed through their new dictionaries. It was very special.”

The club has been participating in The Dictionary Project since 2006, and over the years, they have distributed more than 2,400 dictionaries to students, helping young learners discover the joy of words and learning.
