Rotary Club of Willmar Champions Literacy With Annual Dictionary Donation
Since 2006, the Rotary Club of Willmar in Minnesota has proudly given dictionaries to third grade students at five area schools. Each year, the club distributes these personal dictionaries as part of their commitment to improving literacy in Kandiyohi County.
Beyond donating dictionaries, Rotary members also support education by participating in the Strive mentoring program and reading alongside third graders throughout the school year. Their efforts provide students with strong language skills and personal encouragement.
As part of their broader strategic plan to boost child literacy, the Rotary Club of Willmar has gifted more than 7,900 dictionaries since beginning their partnership with The Dictionary Project.
Thanks to their dedication, students are empowered with valuable learning tools that support their academic and personal growth.
