Courtland Lions Club Brings Dictionaries to Immanuel Lutheran Third Graders
Third grade students at Immanuel Lutheran School in Courtland, Minnesota received a special gift from the Courtland Lions Club—their very own personal dictionary. The students were thrilled to dive into the books, using them immediately during a social studies lesson to locate the Declaration of Independence.By participating in The Dictionary Project, the Courtland Lions Club supports local literacy and encourages students to develop strong reading and reference skills early in life.
Moments like this not only inspire curiosity, but also help strengthen classroom learning and empower students to become lifelong learners.
