📚 148 Dictionaries Donated to Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Students in Florida

April 18, 2025 – Davenport, FL – In a significant effort to promote literacy, Steve Githens presented 148 dictionaries to students at Ridgeview Global Studies Academy (RGSA) in Polk County, Florida. This initiative is part of the ongoing dictionary distribution program aimed at enhancing vocabulary skills among young learners.

RGSA, a K–12 charter school located in northeastern Polk County, emphasizes global studies and cultural diversity. The school serves approximately 1,573 students and maintains a student-teacher ratio of 17.7:1 With 50% of its students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch, the donation supports the school’s mission to provide equitable educational resources.
