Noon Rotary Club of Rogers Sparks Joy With Dictionary Donations
A cherished tradition of the Noon Rotary Club of Rogers in Rogers, Arkansas is giving every third grade student in the Rogers Public Schools a personal dictionary through their long-running partnership with The Dictionary Project.
Rotarian Lisa Garner reflected on the experience, saying, “What a wonderful and blessed day this was! The excitement and looks on their faces when we told them that they could write their name in their book and it was theirs, was absolutely priceless.”
For the Rotary Club, the dictionary project is not only a literacy initiative—it’s a celebration. It gives students an essential tool for reading, writing, and lifelong learning, while creating memorable moments that foster joy and educational pride.
Year after year, the club continues to inspire young learners and support local education by encouraging vocabulary development and critical thinking—one dictionary at a time.
