Laramie Elks Lodge Expands Dictionary Project to All Third Graders in Albany County
Every third grader in Albany County School District #1 in Wyoming will now have a dictionary of their own, thanks to the expanded efforts of the Laramie Elks Lodge #582. The Lodge first joined The Dictionary Project in 2017, initially providing dictionaries to students at just one Laramie school.
Now, in a significant expansion of their literacy commitment, the project has grown to serve all elementary schools in the district. This milestone means more students than ever before will have access to a valuable educational tool that supports reading, writing, and vocabulary development.
The lodge’s dedication ensures that every third grader in the district receives a tangible gift that will assist them both inside and outside the classroom—an act that reflects the Elks’ mission to build stronger communities through education and service.
