Bellefonte Elks Lodge Continues Tradition of Giving Dictionaries to Students

The Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 in Pennsylvania continued its commitment to literacy this school year by presenting personal dictionaries to all third grade students at St. John’s Catholic School in Bellefonte.

This effort, which began last school year, is part of a growing partnership with The Dictionary Project, whose mission is to empower students with the tools needed for academic success. The students were thrilled to receive their very own dictionaries—resources that will support reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and curiosity for years to come.
